STRANGER IN THE CROWD
There she stands on her lonely roads
Coming back to the place she once left behind
Trapped in the middle of salvation her destined creed
for a broken heart that is waiting to be healed
No one sees her standing in a silence
waiting for her lost one to come
Her world is dark and grey
and she is smeared with all red
Every night and day
she walks the distance
from her sleeping dead
waiting to awaken her lost fate
standing at this middle of nowhere
like a Stranger in the crowd
There was a time she was happy and good
and she had a love
who was fighting for the country with his troops
he promised to be back and said ‘don’t be sad’
She waited ; but he never came back
Its been years and the world has changed
But she still waits dressed in her favourite dress
The love is lost and her body now lies in a grave
But her soul still wanders looking for the lost face
Every night and day
she walks the distance
from her sleeping dead
waiting for him to return
subverted and unseen with her silent tears
like ; a Stranger in the crowd
I wonder if this is hope
or just a restless haunting soul
This life sometimes ain’t just enough
but its all we got to get through the tough
But do we ever realise
What we do ; if is really worth
running every day and night
trying to get past aside the other man beside
Open your eyes and see if there is hope
and if you can see light in middle of this populated dome
look back and see if you had left behind
your own soul and reflection
lost and numb ; like a stranger in the crowd
She is not the only one
Who stands there with a hope
Like a lone soul ; restless and stoned
Look carefully and you may find your own self too
The one you left behind in the race long back
Still standing with a hope for you to return
So I wonder if we ain’t no different
from that dead soul
Not dead but just alive with a fake proud
Living with each other

Author: From quite some time my lead vocalist and music arranger ‘SAM’ was nagging me to write a song that has a story…of course a sad one.. and should have also a message in the end…something like ‘Smoke on the Water’ by deep purple or ‘SASHA’ by Outlandish…etc…etc… and when I saw this smoky picture the idea almost hit my grey cells… and this came out… Will compose it soon with ma boyz..

Actually if you see carefully..the song or poem..Wateva.. has got a distinct shape and vibe..
Did you get that..?? okay lemme xplain.. it starts with something..err..a story..and finishes
in a different way... takes the reader from one place to another and you neva know when you reached from one horizon to another..
that was my actual intention..TO TAKE YOU ALL FOR A RIDE..hehe..Hope it worked that way..

Ohkkaayyy... now for me and ma band... Well i have a band called 'PERISTROIKA' back at Kochi.i.e. where i work..
and we do play locally and in the north east...bt due to lack of time it is very rare.. basically we experiment with music..
I write the songs...all of ma blog post poems are mostly songs...with modifications and choruses and all..
then we compose it...me..ma lead vocalist and arranger..lead guitarist ..and drummer..
Yeah!! we record ourselves too... and are working on an album at present that we are planning to realease..next year..
We paly all kinda music..but only in the ROCK gener..alternative..punk..heavymetal..black..anything...
Since am a DJ too..so we do some 'LINKING PARK' kinda stuff too..hehe..lottsa things you see...
A friend of ours who has a different band called 'EXODUS' has his own recording studio...so we do all kinda work...can say..
AT HOME..hehe..
